Got a text yesterday about changing my phone number and asked if I wanted to leave a message. I was with a mate who mentioned she'd seen similar ones too. We just chose to ignore the texts. Honestly, I’d recommend not replying to anything like that.

Just got a text from 07706556954 pretending to be "mum and dad". Totally a scam, immediately blocked and deleted it. Our kids never call us that way anyway.

Got a text from 07706556954 that started with "Hi Mum/Dad" saying it was a new number and asking me to message them on WhatsApp. It didn’t feel right since it wasn’t signed by my kid, and I know for sure there’s no Dad here. Pretty dodgy if you ask me, defo a scam!
