Got a text claiming to be from Lloyd’s saying there was an unauthorised transaction. It mentioned a payment of £753.59 to ‘SA Motors Ltd’ and told me to ring 0808 175 1709 if I hadn’t made the payment. Definitely felt dodgy and like a scam to me.

I got a text saying there was a Lloyds Bank alert, asking me to verify that no money had been withdrawn from my account. Turns out it was a scam, the bank confirmed it on 19/10/23 at 17:13. The message came from +44 7706 271446 and said something like: "Lloyds Alert A payment of £753.59 was tried at SA Motors Ltd. If you didn’t authorise this, ring us on 0330 190 0942." Definitely a dodgy message, so be careful!
