Got a text that claimed to be from EE about some points scheme I had no clue about. The link to claim the points looked pretty dodgy, and the message ended with “EE wishes you a good trip!” which seemed odd. Usually, all legit messages I get from EE show up with their proper header. I passed the message on to Action Fraud just to be safe and let them check it out.

I keep receiving messages saying I've got EE points to spend, but I left EE more than two years ago and never heard about any points when I was a customer. The texts come from two different numbers now. I’m not certain if it’s some kind of scam, but I’m just ignoring it for the time being.
