Got a robotic bloke on the phone saying he’s from Barclays about some dodgy Direct Debit. He asked me to press 0 or 1 depending if I’m a customer or not. After a quick Google, I found out banks don’t ring from random mobiles and the advice is to just hang up - which is what I did straight away. So yeah, I’d say this number isn’t safe. Always double-check your banking apps for weird payments, whether they’ve gone through or are still pending.
