Got a call from this number earlier, they said they were from some government benefits office and claimed I was owed around £3259. Then they started talking about needing me to get a small life insurance policy first and kept putting me on hold to pass me to someone else. Honestly, it’s all nonsense. It’s definitely about insurance, not PPI or anything like that. Avoid it!

I've blocked this number already, but I'm still getting voicemails from some Asian guys speaking and laughing in their language. I checked my call log and saw a call from them earlier that didn’t get blocked. Then just a few minutes later, they left these weird voicemails.

Got a call from some Asian bloke asking for my missus. When I asked why, he said he’d pay £20 for a night with her. After a bit of back and forth, I settled for £600 and even got a cheque in advance - which went through fine. Honestly, I don’t think this 'Daniel' fella is gonna see any of that cash, haha.

I got a couple of calls recently, one from abroad and the other from the number 07705656802. The first person went on and on, trying to convince me to get life insurance before they’d send me a cheque for some £3259 PPI refund. Both had strong Indian accents, which made me wary. The second caller said they were from an insurance firm called 'UK Life Protect'. Problem is, I never filed any claim like that. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call.

Got a weird call from a bloke who said he was from Manchester. He was going on about some PPI thing, which I've never even had. Guess I’m lucky or just fed up with these time-wasting calls. Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent asking for me. When I asked who he was, he said he was calling from some place but I couldn’t catch the name. On 24th August 2018, around 1.09pm, we got a ring on our home phone. The person said my husband had won a PPI claim, which isn’t true because he never made one. Told them to remove our details from their records.

When he caught on, he just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now. I also got in touch with 02, reported what happened and gave them the number. Asked why they don’t crack down more since loads of people have moaned about this. The number’s pay-as-you-go! When have legit firms done this sort of thing? Don’t be taken in by it.

They rang me like four times in a row, asking for some Simone Wilkins. Thing is, I’m a bloke with a pretty deep voice, so I told them they had the wrong person. Still, they kept going on about some refund or something. I just hung up, but they rang straight back again. This time I shouted, "Stop calling this number!" and slammed the phone down. Wouldn't you know it, a few minutes later the phone buzzes again - same story, they say I’m not who I claim to be and carry on pestering. Honestly, what’s their deal? Four calls all within a few minutes is just ridiculous.
