Total scam! I picked up today 'cause I've been getting loads of calls from this number and another one ending with 28. Every time, they just hang up straight away. I tried calling back, but it just rang three times and then cut off. What a waste of time!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying the government’s made me pay off all my debts, sounded total dodgy to me.

Got a call from an Indian woman named Alex, claiming she was with some debt relief company. When I asked why she was ringing, she didn’t really explain, just wanted me to say I had a nice voice and wish her a merry Christmas. I said merry Christmas back and then she said bye and hung up. Sounds like a total scam to me, haha.

No clue who they are, got 5 calls in 4 hours and didnt answer any. I always use caller ID so if its not someone I know, I just dont pick up. Just ignore this number.

Got a call from a woman saying my loan was approved. I told her that was great since I never applied for anything like that, said cheers and ended the call. All sorted by blocking the number now.

Got a call from some bloke called Mike, says he's from the credit investigation bureau! Had a right chuckle when he threatened I'd go to jail if I didn't sort my debts. Reckon he wasn’t too happy when I told him he sounded like a scammer. I've blocked the number now, but I’m pretty sure he’ll try again using some other dodgy number.

Got a call today and I picked up. A woman asked if I wanted a loan, I told her no thanks and she just said, “Alright then, fuck off.” I shot back with, “You’re the one wasting your phone credit, not me.” Then I just left the call connected for ages and she kept rambling to herself. What a cheeky cow!!

They said they were from the Credit Investigation Bureau and mentioned they sourced my details from a nearby credit agency. Then they started chatting about some government charity and IVAs. Sounds like a total scam to me. They've been ringing from 07749312620 before too.

Got a call on my mobile while I was driving so couldn’t pick up. Tried calling back but the call dropped before anyone said anything. No clue if it’s someone legit, and my "Should I answer" app didn’t flag it either. Decided to just block the number now.

Got a call from someone named Mike, said he was with the Citizens Advice Bureau. Told me my 'creditors' want me to arrange an IVA or whatever it's called for a payment plan - said if I don’t, they’ll push for bankruptcy. When I asked for a contact number to ring back, he got all rude and ended up just hanging up on me. Proper dodgy behaviour.

Got a call from 07704961436 about some credit check. They claimed no one at my address had that name and said it was illegal to lie to government officials. I just told them to do one nicely, and they hung up on me.

The person knew my name but as soon as I asked who they were, they just cut off. Straight on my block list. Seems like there’s loads of these scams coming from India right now.

This bloke called me out of the blue saying I owed money, which I don’t. When I said that, he got really snotty. He then went on about sending bailiffs to some other address and wouldn’t tell me who I supposedly owed. I asked a few times, and he even admitted I was entitled to know, but still wouldn’t say. In the end, he just ended the call on me. Proper rude.

Got a call from an Indian bloke who said it was urgent and about me owing money to the government. I told him my debts are sorted already, and he just cut me off straight away. Had loads of these calls recently, all from Indian lads, always on mobiles! Pretty sure it’s a major scam that should be looked into. The noise in the background sounds like it’s put on to make it seem legit!

Clearly a load of scammers. Kept asking me to verify my name but refused to say which company he was ringing from. The caller, calling himself ‘Michael’, got really angry and started swearing when I told him to find a decent job instead of trying to con people. Blocked straight away!!!

Someone just rang me claiming they were with some debt collection or something. It was defo a call centre; the person had a strong Indian accent.

Got a call from 07704961436 claiming to be from Citizens Advice. They had my name and phone number but no other info. They said I owed money and offered help with debts. When I asked for more details, they insisted I had loans, which is rubbish - I’ve never taken any out. When I asked how they got my info, the bloke just hung up. He sounded like Middle Eastern, really strong accent, said his name was 'Michael'. Be careful with this one!

Got a really rude lady from India callin me about some debt i supposedly owe, and when I asked where she got my number from she just cut me off straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming my creditors passed them my number. When I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up, they said something like, “how dare you be rude to a government official!” They had a heavy Indian accent, probably kinda scary for someone who’s vulnerable.

Credit check call. I picked up whilst working in a loud factory, thinking it might be important since it was a mobile number. Once I understood, I asked if she could ring back later or the next day as I was tied up at work. She snapped at me saying there was no need to shout. I tried to say it was just really noisy and I was busy, but she’d already ended the call. Proper rude behaviour.

Someone said they were from MoneyWorks, but my local MoneyWorks is closed right now, so I know they’re not telling the truth. The call ended suddenly and you can’t call them back! Best to ignore.
