this bloke rang me up, said his name was steve and had a bit of an indian accent, claimed he was from talk talk. he tried to trick me by giving the last 4 digits of my account number but when i asked for the full number he just hung up, guessing I caught on to what he was up to.

A woman with a heavy Indian accent rang me up, claiming to be from TalkTalk. I was pretty cautious and didn’t give any personal info, but I played along for a bit. After chatting for around a minute, she said she'd have to put me through to someone else.

This number has called me a couple of times lately, claiming to be from McAfee. Thing is, I’m not even with McAfee anymore. So I just ended the call straight away. Bit irritating, really.

got a call from some bloke named steve claiming to be from talk talk about my router. sounded like he was chatting away in a pub, not a proper call centre. i clocked it was dodgy straight away. told him “talk talk? what a laugh, thanks but no thanks you cheeky bugger.” did a quick 1471 check and yep, the number showed up as mobile, no legit firm would ring you from that. ended the call sharpish, dodged a bullet there.

Got a couple of calls this week from this number claiming to be TalkTalk. Told them I'm not with TalkTalk anymore and then they just ended the call straight away!
