I got a call from someone claiming to be handling refunds for a kitchen warranty, though they never said which appliance. They asked for all my card information to process what they called a refund. I was suspicious and questioned them, then the call just dropped. Moments later, they rang back and repeated the same request. I told them I’d get in touch with my bank and ended up cancelling my card straight away. The caller was really pushy, insisting the info was needed because of some government rule to confirm who should get the refund.
