I got a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying I’d been charged £79.99 for a Prime renewal. I told them I don’t even have Prime, but they kept insisting my Amazon account was hacked and money had been taken. They even said they needed to give me a refund. I told them again I don’t have an Amazon account, and when I said I checked my bank and no money was missing, they turned quite pushy, saying I had to act immediately to get my money back. I mentioned I’d report it to the Police if they didn’t stop, and they hung up pretty quickly after that.
