I've just blocked 8 different numbers cause they keep ringin even tho I've never picked up before. Now they're switching it up, calling from 'Private Number' so I guess you can't block that? Feels like it should be illegal, right?

Happened to me as well, he claimed to be from CAB. But what has CAB got to do with debts anyway?? So annoying. What’s their problem, they got my full name already! And they've called me from loads of different numbers. I'm fed up with constantly blocking them!

Got a call from them 4 times today and didn’t leave a voicemail, total muppet move! After seeing what others said, guess I wasn’t wrong!

Had a call from someone claiming to be from the “Financial Conduct Authority” saying I owed money and that one of my creditors was prepared to assist me. When I asked which creditor, they snapped back with “All of them” and wouldn’t share any further details.

Some bloke rang me saying he was with the CAB (which I know don’t just ring out of the blue), saying it was about debts I supposedly owed. I told him I’d never had any debts like that, and then he just ended the call.

Got a call today from someone claiming it was about a loan I supposedly applied for, saying I was approved. The guy sounded quite pushy and had an accent, with loads of background noise. He kept pressuring me to say yes, which I’ve heard is a scam where they edit the recording to make it seem like you agreed to something. When I tried ringing back, the number just wouldn’t pick up.

I got a call from this number, and the guy said he was with NatWest's investigation team. I acted like I couldn’t hear properly so he said it again. I told him I don’t have an account with NatWest, then he asked if I had one with some other building society. When I asked what it was about, he just dropped the call. Feeling a bit worried and confused about it all. Please don’t share any info with them.

This number rang me like 3 or 4 times within just a few hours. I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know and haven’t started now. Cheers to anyone who did, though. I’m gonna block it from now on. Honestly, my tip for anyone getting random calls is just don’t bother answering. If it was something urgent, you’d already be aware of the number. If not, they’ll find another way to reach you.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from citizens advice about a £15000 debt. I said I dont owe anything and he started accusing me of lying! Told me again before just hanging up. Best to just ignore calls like this.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Jacobi bailiffs. They said my creditors gave them my info over a £5000 credit card or loan debt! When I questioned it, the bloke swore it wasn’t a scam and threatened to make my life unbearable, then just hung up. Proper nasty guy preying on vulnerable people.
