I've been getting about three calls daily from people claiming to be from National Debt Line. I've told them repeatedly to take my number off their list, but they just keep ringing. Then they switch to a different mobile number and call again. It's really frustrating.

Got a call from what sounded like an office in India, with a bunch of people talking loudly in the background. The caller claimed they worked for a firm named Lifestyle Preferences. When I asked if they were a legitimate UK company, they insisted they were and even shared a company number. But when I looked it up on Companies House, nothing came up at all. The guy got annoyed and ended the call. Don’t trust these lot with any of your details!

They rang me up both yesterday and today, so I tried calling back to see who it was, but got the same thing as the person before me - a message saying the voicemail was full so I couldn’t leave anything. Strange thing is, it never actually rung on my end. Feels like some sort of auto dialler to me. My Hiya app flagged it as a possible scam, so I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy. I’m just gonna block this number now.

This number rang me not just today but also on Saturday and yesterday, but I never answered. When it rang again today, it showed as a withheld number. After about 5 or 6 rings, I heard a recorded message saying the voicemail is full and they can’t accept any messages right now.

I got nothing but silence at first, then out of nowhere, a robot voice said goodbye before the call just dropped. Quite unsettling, really, and kinda annoying too. Might even be a bit creepy.

I picked up and there was no one on the other end, just silence and him saying hello a few time, then all of a sudden a robotic voice said goodbye. Sounds dodgy to me, I’m marking this as a SCAM. Better safe than sorry, I’ve blocked the number now.

Got another call from the same number today, but this time it weren’t silent. The bloke said he was from some call blocking company and that he was sorting my call blocking to keep telemarketers off my phone. Seemed like they claimed they’d update my call blocking or sumthin’.
