I'm with Virgin Mobile and got this dodgy text about “Sarah in hospital” on 10th February 2017 around 7:57 in the evening. Didn’t even bother replying since it seemed fishy right away. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

this number sent me a couple of messages about someone having a broken fibula, same text both times. i ended up blocking them since i’ve got no idea who sarahil is. really strange!

Got a message from someone named Sarah saying she had a little accident and broke her fibula, now stuck in hospital, asking me to do her a favour and reply once I see the text. Reckon it's a scam, cos my ex was called Sarah too and honestly, if she’s hurt, not really bothered to reply. So I just ignored it.

Got a text saying, "Hey, it's Sarah. Can you do me a favour? I had an accident and broke my fibula, stuck in hospital. Please reply when you get this." Bit obvious it’s a scam really - tugs at your heart a bit, and who wouldn't wanna help someone injured? Maybe she was in pain and dialled 71211 by mistake? But the number was unknown and she didn’t say which hospital. So yeah, I’m guessing “Sarah” is still “in hospital” with her broken fibula.

Without a doubt, this was a scam. I received a message from someone calling herself ‘Sarah’ claiming she’d broken her fibula and was hospitalised. She asked me to get a voucher for ‘her’ mobile.
