Got a voicemail about a supposed payment of £700 made on my visa card for a flight on August 10th. Thing is, I don’t even own a visa debit card. They want you to press 1 if it was you or 2 if it wasn’t. That’s the sneaky bit - they’re trying to get you to enter your card info and the security code at the back. After that, they clean out your bank account. Don’t get caught out, call your bank using a different phone and tell them straight away. Luckily, I get a text alert every time my card is used.

I keep getting missed calls from a number close to 1142565233, and I've noticed this one is flagged here too for annoying telemarketers. I'm guessing it's the same call centre behind both. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't know and they never bother to leave a voicemail. Tried searching online for info about it before deciding whether to ring back, but no luck whatsoever. Does anyone out there actually answer this number? Would be good to know who they are!
