I just ignored the call, and after reading other people’s experiences, thanks for sharing this! I really hope these annoying calls just stop soon. Fingers crossed nobody ever picks up when it’s an unknown number again.

Some bloke called me saying he could help with my debts. I said yeah, I do owe something, then asked him where he found my number and details. He didn’t reply at all and just kept pushing for how much I owed. I told him it was just £2.50 for my library card, and then he suddenly ended the call. Quite odd really.

So, these lot told me I’d won some prize from a contest I did enter. They asked for my bank info, and being daft, I handed it over. Next thing I know, a good chunk of cash has disappeared from my account. Ridiculous!

I called back a couple of times but the number didn't show up as valid or anything. Very strange!
