I got a call that seemed to be from Santander, saying they’d send me a text message from a different number (this one) to confirm if I’d paid for a subscription I get every year. It felt really dodgy, definitely a scam. They asked me to respond with either Y or N along with my pin, which is a big no-no. They also gave a number to ring back on (0808280568) if I wanted to verify the payment, but I wouldn’t trust it for a second!

Got a text warning me about fraud with my bank card and asking me to ring 0808280034 or tap a link. Felt fishy straight away so I rang Santander using their official number. They told me it was definitely a scam. Then I got a similar call at home on my landline not long after. Seriously, when will the authorities finally start putting a stop to these scammers and also go after the ebay folks who sell our numbers to them? It's about time some proper action is taken!

I didn’t listen for more than 13 seconds before hanging up. They were already blabbering about my phone contract getting cancelled by some technical department or someting. The number that called me was 07703 785449.

Got a call from this number at about 8.27 this morning. I just said one word and they ended the call straight away. After reading what others said here, I’m going straight to block it.

Got a call from the same number but didn't pick it up. It's just another scam call, I reckon. Blocking them seems to help though, might run out of numbers eventually!

The name showing up is Mark Patterson, and everytime I tell them it's not right, they just cut the call. This has been happening for more than three years now.
