Gave us a bell around midday. A chap on the line wanted to speak with the landowner. We said "not a chance" and ended the call.

We received a call today from this number, which at first glance appeared to be just another ordinary mobile number from the UK. Naturally, we answered. The callers were asking for the property owner, but we weren’t about to confirm or deny anything without knowing who we were dealing with. They then launched into a lengthy pitch about grants for insulating homes, at which point we decided to hang up.

Received a call at 9 in the evening, right in the heat of the snooker final - talk about bad timing! They were after the 'property owner', and honestly, I was told to ‘sling my hook’ before the line went dead. Understandably frustrated, they phoned back straight away, but I answered only to be met with another abrupt cut-off. Just typical, isn’t it?
