Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from EE, saying I could get a 40% discount because I always pay my bills promptly. I agreed at first, then she passed me to a bloke, also Asian, who asked me to confirm my full name. I didn’t want to give it, felt a bit iffy. When he asked if I’d need to provide my bank details, I said no and ended the call - just seemed too dodgy. Could be genuine but I’m not convinced, not worth the hassle. Plus, the number they called from definitely didn’t look like it was from EE.
