I received a rather dubious call from this number, where the individual on the other end asserted that he could help me reclaim £23,000. He specified pounds rather than dollars, which I found rather odd. The reality is, I’ve never lost such a hefty sum to a dodgy firm like Investxe; my loss was only £6,000. This chap claimed he was acting on behalf of the UK government, which I found utterly absurd. He wanted me to log into my computer to set up some sort of wallet for transferring the alleged £23,000 supposedly sitting in my Investxe account. It's quite clear that Investxe is a scam that has been shut down, and here’s yet another rogue attempting to exploit my misfortune with empty promises. I’d advise him to take a long walk off a short pier!
