I was expecting an Uber delivery and saw on the map that the driver was nearly at my place when my home phone started ringing. I missed the call because it stopped ringing just as my delivery arrived. I asked the driver if they’d tried calling me, but they said no. So I’m not sure who that call was from, though I guess it was Uber. They left a message on my BT answerphone, but it was silent - no voice or anything.

Got a text from an Uber Eats driver saying “Yoldayım.” Had to look it up since I didn’t know what it meant - apparently, it’s Turkish for “I’m on my way.” He eventually showed up about 25 minutes after that.

In the middle of the night I kept getting calls from a voice saying "hello" over and over, sounded like they had a weird accent.

I booked an Uber for a ride to Normanton between 11 and 11:30, but no driver ever turned up. Later, I saw loads of bad reviews about the same driver. It’s really not on for people to have to deal with this, and I hope Uber get told about it soon because this guy shouldn’t be driving for them anymore. It’s unfair on all the customers getting let down like this.
