I recently stumbled upon a text message that directed me to a website designed to mimic the Royal Mail, albeit an absolute fraud. A quick glance at the URL revealed it bore no relation to either Royal Mail or the Post Office. The site seemed to require personal information that they would undoubtedly possess if they were legitimate. Additionally, they texted me using my mobile number, which they shouldn't have had if it were above board. If they actually had a package awaiting me, they would certainly already have my name and address! I've promptly blocked and reported the number. Since Christmas, I’ve been inundated with similar messages from various mobile numbers. Stay alert and safeguard your information!
