Got a spam call pitching free grants and business offers. Some woman rang up saying they were doing roof cleans and offering free roof damage checks. When I asked how they got my number, she claimed a mate of theirs had knocked on my door pre-Covid and got it - which was a complete load of rubbish. Told them to delete my number from their system straight away and hung up sharpish! This kind of thing could definitely trick more vulnerable folks.
