For three days straight, I kept getting calls from 07723 467752, but they always just dropped me straight to voicemail. When I checked the messages, all they said was "oh, this is the initial greeting." I ended up blocking the number, but then this morning it rang me again and left the same weird voicemail. Seems like a spam number to me, really frustrating!

Got a call on my phone today that EE marked as 'Possible SPAM'. The voicemail was just some weird "Oh, this is the initial greeting" bit. Seems like some spammer’s trying out some gadget but can’t even set it up right to say their usual rubbish.

I just let the call ring out to voicemail. When I checked the message later, there was this robotic voice saying something like, “Oh, this is the initial…” and then it suddenly stopped. I tried ringing the number back but it dropped the call straight away, no ringing, no connection to anyone or any kind of automated system. Given how strange it was and the incomplete voicemail, I’m pretty sure it was some sort of spam or scam.
