Got a call back from a number with a female AI voice, she hung up just after about 10 seconds. No name was given, just the number on display. Afterwards, I got a message with a link related to the football World Cup, asking if I wanted any help. Bit strange if you ask me.

I got a call from someone named Matthew who said he needed to talk about my account. When I asked which company he was with, he refused to say. Seemed fishy, so I just ended the call. Definitely didn’t sound legit.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Leo Vegas, the gambling website. Weirdly enough, he knew my email address straight away and rattled it off like he was some kind of game show host or radio guy. At first, I thought he was about to say I’d won something amazing, but then he started bombarding me with loads of questions. After that, he pushed me to put £20 into Leo Vegas right then and there, promising to show me how to double it. When I kept saying no over and over, he just ended the call.

Didnt explain anything but definitely some sort of scam here.

They claim to be Nationwide, but I find it rather hard to believe they’d be calling from a mobile phone. Besides, I don’t even have an account with them!

Just a heads up, Nationwide never contacts you using a mobile phone number.
