There's this dodgy 'green deal' scam going about, I saw it reported on the local news here in Glasgow and even on the BBC. When I brought it up to the bloke on the phone, he just shouted back, "No way! You’re just swallowing fake news!" Honestly, it’s a brutal con that robs people blind.

No clue who called, but they just rang and hung up without saying a thing. When I checked the voicemail, it was empty - just some background noise that made me think it was probably from a call centre. I'm gonna block the number now.

Got a call from 07700138744, some bloke with a Scottish accent noisy in the background, saying I was entitled to some sort of funding. When I asked for details, he suddenly got all shifty and threatened to remember what I said for next time. Wasn't impressed at all, especially since my hubby's just been told he's got terminal cancer and I thought it was about that. It’s really not on and quite upsetting. Next time, I’ll tell him exactly where to shove it. The government really ought to step in, these calls are getting aggressive and it’s not right.

My phone didn’t even buzz so I didn’t catch it ringing. After reading the comments here, I decided to block the number, though I’m sure they’ll just switch to other numbers again. Honestly, it’s about time the government stepped up and dealt with these calls, especially when they’re harassing people.

i got a call from a woman who was talking about the green deal, saying i'd asked for details about doors and windows. i told her that wasn't true and i wasn't interested at all. then she called me a liar and just ended the call.

When i told the bloke I wasn’t interested in their windows or doors (which we never asked for), he got proper nasty. He kept going on, acting like I was daft or something, and I kept saying no thanks. Then he threatened to keep calling us over and over. Eventually I snapped at him and then he started shouting and being really rude.

When I picked up the phone, there was complete silence on the other end, nobody said a word.
