2 monthsHad a call early this morning at about 4am to my mum's phone saying there was some dodgy Google Pay activity. They asked her to reply yes or no if it was her. The number said someone would be in touch again, but I had to warn her not to reply or deal with anyone claiming to be from the bank. We’ve since rung the bank ourselves and they confirmed everything's fine.Google Pay3 monthsGot a text telling me the bank was getting in touch about a new direct debit for £0.00, then at 4 in the morning I get a voicemail with a recorded message. It said to press a button if I didn’t set up the direct debit. Felt dodgy right away - the number wasn’t even my bank’s, and no way would a bank handle fraud like that. Also, the account number in the text was just the last few digits from the long number on my card, not my actual account number.
