Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, and it was one of those recorded messages telling me to press 1 or face legal trouble. I pressed 1 on purpose just to see what would happen. Then it connected me to a call centre with a really noisy background, and an Indian bloke picked up the phone. When I asked him how many folks actually fall for this nonsense, he just ended the call right away 😂
