I had a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to be a manager at the Green Eco Centre. They rang from what they said was a Bournemouth landline, mentioning that homes in my postcode (which they conveniently couldn’t identify) are eligible for some sort of government grant for loft insulation. They mentioned that a manager would soon follow up to organise a complimentary survey without any strings attached. However, I've come across a plethora of negative reviews on Trustpilot about these folks, with feedback pointing towards heavy-handed marketing tactics and even allegations of being a scam. To top it off, their follow-up call was from a mobile number, which certainly raises a few eyebrows about their credibility!
