This number rang me, but luckily there was a call guard asking the caller to identify themselves. They didn’t leave a voicemail. When I tried calling back using a different phone, it just said “sorry, the system is busy,” which makes me think it’s probably a scam.

This morning I checked 1471 and saw that this number rang me yesterday. When I dialled it back, it reached the 4 but said the number wasn’t recognised. On a different note, I sent a complaint to BT Openreach about the scam calls pretending to be from "BT Openreach." BT got back to me and said there’s nothing they can do since they don’t assign the phone numbers. Totally pointless!

Got these triple glazing windows with a local grant, supposed to save money!!! But loads of scammers just wasting our time tryna rip us off. This looks like a premium number, so best not to ring it back. I worked this out because my phone blocks all outgoing calls to premium and international numbers, so I use it to check suspicious calls that come through, like this one on my landline. Although it seems like a UK mobile, it’s definitely not.
