Received a phone call from someone claiming to be Microsoft about a laptop I don’t own. They mentioned my postcode and an address, but kept getting my name wrong which made me suspicious. When I wasn’t responding much, they suddenly ended the call. Then, just moments later, they phoned back to ask why I had disconnected. The guy sounded annoyed pretty quickly. I said I’d be blocking the number and reporting the call, and then he just hung up on me. It’s hard to believe they’d bother calling back just to call you out for hanging up.
