My phone showed this number and flagged it as possible spam, so I chose to ignore the call. They didn't bother leaving a voicemail or sending a text afterwards.

Just received a message claiming to be from Barclays about some online code and a £165.18 charge at IKEA. Problem is, I don’t bank with Barclays and haven’t stepped foot in IKEA for ages. There was a number to ring if the transaction wasn’t mine, but I decided to just block the number and not bother replying.

Got a text from this number about a Tesco payment supposedly from Barclays Bank. Thing is, I dont even have an account with Barclays. Pretty sure it’s some mix up or scam.

I reckon it’s a scam, got a message from someone claiming to be Barclays asking me to confirm a code for ASDA. They told me to ring 01367306504. Definitely dodgy if you ask me.
