We’ve encountered this as well. Just overlook it entirely. It’s most likely nothing but some dodgy marketing ploy. Make sure they don’t get wind of your genuine number!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, if you wish to opt out, just respond with the word 'STOP'!

I received a rather peculiar text from this number, which stated: "Several individuals like yourself may be paying excess council tax as a result of incorrect banding. Please reply with YES to ascertain your eligibility for refunds." However, when I attempted to ring the number, I was met with the message that the connection couldn't be established. Coincidentally, we’ve been investigating our council tax online, but I haven’t shared any personal information. Is this merely a coincidence, or could it be yet another fraudulent scheme?

Absolutely, I just received that “77% of individuals are retiring with a personal pension below £2,000" nonsense. It’s a bit tiresome, isn’t it? Not long ago, it was that irritating "A lot of us seem to be overpaying council tax" drivel. Is there any chance to put a stop to these ridiculous messages?

Absolutely! It's quite alarming how these individuals seem to take liberties with your number. The moment they get a whiff of it, they think it’s perfectly acceptable to just pop round to your house at the most ridiculous hours, as if they own the place! Just the other night we had to kindly escort one of them out at 4 in the morning-can you believe the nerve? It’s simply outrageous!

Received a text from this number earlier today, trying to pitch a payday loan to us. They told us to reply if we were keen on the offer. We’ve chosen to ignore it for now, but I’m wondering if they'll keep pestering us. Also, is there any cost associated with these messages?

Absolutely, we just received that "77% of individuals are retiring on a personal pension below £2,000" nonsense. Yet another tedious message! Prior to that, there was that ridiculous spiel about "Many of us are overpaying on our council tax." Is there any chance we can opt out of these annoying messages?

We recently received a message regarding council tax as well, followed by an alarming text stating, “77% of individuals retire on a pension under £2,000 annually! That’s merely £38 a week!” It then asked us to reply with “YES” if we desired a complimentary pension review. Frankly, we suspect it’s just a scam designed to extract money from unsuspecting folks right after they've received their cash.
