Looks like loads of us got the exact same text, all saying we came 4th!! What a shocker. Mine was sent from 38987. Big thanks to everyone who’s already shared their thoughts, it really helped me realise this is just a scam. So I’m adding my own bit here to warn others. Surely they don’t think we’re daft - there’s no way I’m clicking on that link.

Its about time these scammers got sorted. Anyone recieving texts from this number should definitely report it. Just search for ‘action fraud’, go to the 'police.uk' website and head to the reporting area. Mark it as a phishing scam. You dont need to sign up and it only takes a minute, no longer than messaging here. Also, before you send the report, theres a note about sending the info to the nfib too, dont miss that.
