Just to add to what I said earlier... I got a robotic call claiming to be from the national insurance contributions office. The voice said my NI number was at risk somewhere around the Welsh border and told me to press 1. I rang the real NI office afterwards and they confirmed it was a scam.

Got a robo call claiming to be from the National Insurance office, saying my NI number might have been leaked near the Welsh border, then it asked me to press 1. Of course, I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Been getting loads of calls from numbers starting with 07598990 but with different last 3 digits. It’s quite frustrating since my own number starts with those exact digits too.
