Got an automated call from a man wanting to talk to the last person on my number (I've just got a new contract and number). He asked for someone by name, but when I said I wasn’t them and mentioned I’d had similar calls before, he cut me off before I could even ask who he was or what company he represented. Quite cheeky and honestly a bit worrying. Really grateful for websites like this where you can look up unknown calls. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from one of those guys with an Indian accent on a mobile, saying he's from Citizens Advice asking if I have any debt. I told him if he’s meant to be asking me that, he should already know the answer. I don’t have any debt by the way. Then he said he didn’t ask that question and just hung up. What a waste of time. Honestly, get a real job. Blocked the number straight away.

This guy with an Indian accent was quite slow to get going, but eventually he asked if he was speaking to me. Then he claimed he was calling from Citizens Advice, to which I quickly replied that I didn’t need any guidance and already knew where to turn if I did. Not long after, he just cut the call.

Got a call around 6.15pm yesterday from someone saying they were from a credit card interest refund scheme. They promised to help me get back about 70% of the interest. I pretended to be interested for a bit, but honestly, these people are just scammers trying to rip you off. Best thing to do is block the number and report it. We should really tell our MPs to push for stricter rules on who telecom companies allow to use their networks.

Got a call from some bloke who took ages before saying anything. Claimed he was from a government office checking out my accounts because I supposedly owe money. I told him the only thing I owe is my phone bill. Then he started shouting at me, accusing me of lying.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from Citizens Advice. I asked if he was with the official government-backed Citizens Advice, and he said yes. Then he started going on about how they could wipe out 60% of my debts. I decided to mess with him a bit, confusing him until he got annoyed and said *I* was wasting *his* time (bold move).
