Got a call from a UK mobile, with an automated message claiming to be HMRC. But the voice was clearly American, saying important letters were sent back and to press 1 to talk to someone. When I pressed, a person with an Indian-sounding accent, speaking in broken English, came on. They hung up pretty quick when they knew I wasn’t buying it. PS: The voice sounded Indian to me, but I might be wrong, could be another Asian accent.
