They called me up, saying there was some dodgy activity on my bank account, the typical scam stuff. I once saw a documentary where people looking for work ended up moving houses only to find out the company they signed up with was all about ripping off others, basically making them work like slaves. I wonder if those weird sums they're claiming were taken might actually be a sneaky way for folks stuck in those scams to warn us that it’s all fake.

I just got this automated call saying I’d been charged £199 by Amazon and £899 by Zoom, which obviously wasn’t true. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to get scammed big time, or press 2 and chat with their ‘security’ who’d try to scam me even worse. When I rang the number back, guess what? It was actually linked to Tesco Mobile! My bank never calls, and definitely not from a Tesco Mobile number - so obviously a scam. Stay alert, folks!
