He rang up saying he’s from Citizens Advice or something like that, couldn’t catch the last part. Then he mentioned something about my “unconsolidated debts”! Which I definitely don’t have! Told him I’d report it as a scam. Best just block this number.

A bloke with an African accent rang up asking for me using my maiden name (which I haven’t used in 6 years since I got married). He claimed to be from some debt credit company. I told him that wasn’t my name, and then he called me a liar, was really cheeky. I just told him to shove off and find a real job!

Ive told them loads of times to remove my number, they keep saying they’re Citizens Advice but thats clearly not true, and that it’s some government thing. Some cheesy bloke with an Asian accent rang me up saying I owed money. Before he could go on and on, I told him he was on my work phone and to get lost. I phoned the number back and got a recorded message saying “The number you have dialled is not valid.” What a muppet!!

This bloke reckoned he had insider info from the Financial Conduct Authority about me. Little did he know, I used to be on their team. I've reported him to the ICO and the FCA's compliance folks for pretending to be an official rep (which is illegal). Hopefully this muppet gets the hint soon.

WHO EVEN ARE THESE BLOODY LOT! Sorry for the swearing, but my number’s on the Telephone Preference Service list, meant to block these calls - so why do they keep coming through? I suffer from depression and anxiety, and these constant nuisance calls are really pushing me over the edge. I’m getting up to half a dozen every day, keep blocking the numbers but then they ring from a new one. Really can’t handle much more. If anyone has any solid advice or tips, I’m ready to listen. ‭07597 944990‬ rang me today, guy said he's from some citizens advice group talking about me having a debt? It was an Indian bloke speaking English. When I didn’t give any info or admit to owing money, he started shouting and being abusive. I’m only 16 and getting these calls is really scary.

I rarely pick up unknown numbers because of annoying calls like this, but today I've already had the same number ring me twice. A few days ago, it was four times from them! If they don’t leave a voicemail, I just search the number online and found out about them on this site. It’s ridiculous and so frustrating. I really wish there was a way to block these pest callers. Proper nuisance!

Then asked why my phone is a mobile, but apparently it “looks like” one but isn’t? She said she’s not selling anything and just helping with a government scheme to clear debts. Told me she wouldn’t ask for any card info. Total scam, stay away from these people.

Had a call yesterday evening from an aggressive guy with an Indian accent - he started shouting and swearing at me when I told him I wasn’t interested. I ended the call but he kept ringing non stop till I picked up again. Then he called me horrible names and threatened to keep harassing me if I hung up once more! I’ve blocked the number now - absolutely terrible experience!! If only I could find out who he is to report his threatening behaviour properly!

Got a call at 12.05 from a bloke speaking English. He wanted to talk to me and verify my name. I asked who he was but he wouldn't say, just kept asking me to tell him my name. Got a call from a man claiming to be from some sort of investigation team. I quickly realised they wouldn’t be calling from a mobile number nor just ringing without sending anything in writing first. He kept going, asking if I was sure. Then he said how do I explain these documents with my name on them he supposedly got today?
