Got a message from this number earlier with some dodgy link attached. Didn't bother clicking it and just blocked it straight away.

Got a text supposedly from Barclays saying there’s an OTP for a payment of £915.68 to AIRBNB. It told me if it wasn’t me to ring 0203 375 9990. I don’t even have a Barclays account, so obviously didn’t do anything.

They got my name mostly right but messed up the spelling and even added weird punctuation. Claimed my parcel was waiting at a nearby place and mentioned my area too. Sent me a link, but I didn’t bother clicking it.

Got a call from a number claiming to be about a delivery. They sent me a link saying my parcel was waiting at the local depot. Definitely sounds like one of those scam things to me.

Got a call saying I’d been ‘pinged’ for covid, but it was a scam to push me into paying for some test. Total rubbish trying to con people like that.

Got a text from someone claiming to be my kid saying they’d lost their phone and SIM card. I ended up deleting the message before I could see what else it said. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I got a weird message from this number, totally looks like spam and probably dodgy. It said something like “amand}a. it should have reached you earlier.” and had a sketchy link attached: mnghm.com/z2dwtku. Definitely not something I’d click on!

They just dropped me a link, somehow knew my name too. Said they’d been wanting to send it for a while but hadn’t got around to it until now.
