Got a call pretending to be from Royal Mail, but it was a total scam. They sent me a link that looked dodgy and led to a malicious website. Be careful, don’t click on anything like that!

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Royal Mail saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel and I need to collect it. The link they sent was https://royl-mail.parcel-up.top, obviously a fake site where they want you to pay again. Notice how "royal" is spelled without the "a". Definitely a scam!

Got a text from someone claiming to be Kevin at Reed Recruitment. I didn’t bother reading the whole thing. This same number has contacted me twice over the past three days.

Got a call saying my parcel was on hold and I needed to pay again for it to be sent out by Royal Mail. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I reached out to Reed Recruitment in Glasgow to check whether that text message was legit. They were pretty clear it wasn’t from them at all.

Got a message from someone named Kevin claiming to be with Reed Recruitment. He asked if I fancied a flexible job and mentioned that if I didn’t reply, I’d be unsubscribed automatically. Thing is, I’ve never signed up with Reed Recruitment at all.
