Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying there was a £700 payment I needed to confirm by pressing 1. I didn’t waste time and ended the call straight away. To be sure, I rang Amazon myself and they said they hadn’t contacted me at all. If anyone else gets a similar call, don’t answer or press anything, just hang up and call Amazon to verify. The scammers even tried again a few hours later but from another number. Honestly, watch out folks, these scammers will stop at nothing to trick people out of their money.
