I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this particular number: 07595 232962. I received a call from a young woman with an Indian accent who claimed my Amazon Prime subscription was due for renewal. When I informed her that I didn’t have a Prime account, she suddenly switched tactics and said she would take my details to prevent any future transactions on my card. As soon as I mentioned that I’m in the police service and could trace any fraudulent activities back to them, she promptly terminated the call. Quite the suspicious encounter, I must say!

Just got a call about my national insurance, sounded fishy to me. I looked up the number 07595598505, it claims that’s where the call came from. Do you think that’s the actual number the scammers are using?

I picked up and this robotic voice told me my national insurance number was involved in fraud and to press 1 to talk to an officer immediately!! I just ended the call straight away, seems like another dodgy scam to me!

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, called himself Sam, saying I had a PPI refund of £2,500 and asked me to confirm my postcode. When I told him it was actually the postcode of the house we lived in before this one, he just cut me off straight away. This was the second time in a week they rang me. Missed the first call. Tried to call back the number but it said it wasn’t recognised. Proper scammy behaviour, they’d easily fool someone who didn’t know better.

I’ve just had a rather peculiar phone call from this number, claiming that my application for black horse finance has been approved. The thing is, I haven’t even sought any form of finance, so it’s all a bit baffling. When I requested that he clarify what he’d said, the line went dead.
