Got a message out of the blue from a number I didn’t recognise, it said “Hi, hope you’re well this afternoon, can I ask you something quick? Just want to have a short, easy chat.” Sounds pretty dodgy to me, like a scam perhaps. I’m gonna have a look through the comments here first and then block it for sure!

Got a message that said "how are you?" and asking me to ring back, just like the one the person before me mentioned. I’ve just lost my brother and that really hit me hard. Looked it up here and turns out it’s a scam - same message word for word. Absolute rubbish.

Got this message early morning: "Hey hope ur day’s going well Just wanted to ask a quick question if u got time later." Don’t know anyone who’d say "hey there" like that. Blocked straight away. Looks like loads of these phone numbers begin with the same first 7 digits, watch out and don’t get caught out. 0759482 numbers
