kept getting calls from some accident helpline, was really annoying so in the end I blocked the number.

Got a call about my name and registration linked to some accident. They tried to send a cheque to my house, but I told them BACS payment was alright. Still, they kept pushing for the cheque. I told them they can just send it straight to the other person involved. If they ring again, I’m definitely blocking the 50 number. It sounded way too fishy to trust.

Received a call from a woman with a posh English accent, she somehow knew my name and my car registration. She mentioned an accident I'd supposedly had not long ago. Watch out for this one.

I asked who was calling, and they just laughed, called me an idiot, then said I should get ready for loads of calls because they'd be sharing my number about.

Well, I got a call from a bird with a Scouse accent, said she was ringing from some kind of accident help line. She surprised me by knowing the date of my accident and even my car registration. When I said I had no clue about it, she lost her rag and snapped, "How do you not know that?" before just slamming the phone down on me. Strange one!
