Saw an ad on Pets4Homes for blue Staffys, but the seller said no visits 'cos of covid. Tried to get a video call to see the dogs, but they refused. They sent pics that looked fishy, probably nicked from elsewhere, took a deposit off me and then went quiet. Total scam in my opinion.

Honestly, I don’t get why folks bother going to ‘breeders’ when there’s heaps of dogs in shelters that need a home. Loads of these poor dogs are just stuck in kennels with no one picking them up. It’s sad and seems a bit pointless to buy when adoption is an option.

Seriously, don’t get a puppy while we’re in lockdown, it’s just as bad as buying one for Christmas. You really need to see the owner in person, visit their place, and meet the mum before buying. People falling for these scams here honestly brought it on themselves!

I was selling some blue staffie pups and after taking the cash, there’s been zero reply. Proper nasty behaviour, my kids are gutted. Absolute wankers. Tia’s definitely running a scam.

So annoyed, this person says they sell puppies but it’s all a scam. They swiped £100 from us. Honestly disgusting behaviour, hope they feel awful and don’t get a wink of sleep. Stay well clear of them!!!!!!

They say they have Blue Staffy pups available but won’t send videos or do a video call. They make up excuses or just don't reply to messages. You can only reach them on WhatsApp - calling or texting that number doesn’t work.

Got a call from someone claiming to sell puppies, but the photos they sent were clearly nicked from other ads. Turns out the pups don’t actually exist. Total scam!

Someone calling themselves Tia Dawes from Birmingham got in touch after I showed interest in her puppy ad. She sent me photos, but I later found out they were taken from various Pets4Homes[###] accounts. She said her phone wasn’t capable of video calls or recording videos for proof. Loads of red flags pointed towards a covid-related pet scam, and honestly, using pictures that aren’t hers makes her really shady. Stay well clear!

Someone saying she was Tia Dawes from Birmingham got in touch after I showed interest in her puppy advert. She shared some pictures, but I quickly realised they were nicked from various Pets4Homes profiles[###]. She also said her phone couldn’t do videos or video calls to prove the pups were real. Loads of red flags pointed to a possible coronavirus pet scam, or at best, she was dodgy for using photos that weren’t hers. Stay clear of this one!!!
