Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, telling me a suspicious £799 charge had been flagged and stopped. They said to press 1 to talk to someone. Just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number, and the person said they were from my VISA card security saying someone in the US was trying to make a buy. They asked me to go on a Google page and log in, but I didn't trust it and said no, then they just cut the call. Definitely looked like a credit card fraud attempt.

Someone pretending to be from O2 called me. As soon as they started, I just ended the call because a while ago I had a nearly identical call where they said I was a valued customer and offered me a cheaper plan and a brand new iPhone. These dodgy people already knew all my account info, my address and everything. Their goal was to change my O2 password and get the security code that O2 texted me. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away and block the number!

Got a call saying it was Hermes about a parcel I supposedly missed. They sent a dodgy link that was definitely malware! Watch out for this one!

I just got a call where they were all serious and threatening, saying my National Insurance was at risk. Honestly, with the same old grim tone every scammer uses, do they really take us for fools? It’s the exact same routine all over again.
