I just got a call from this number, and as soon as I said hello, the person on the other end asked, "Am I speaking to the homeowner?" I asked who was calling, but before I could get an answer, I heard some strange beeping noises and then the call was ended.

This number just rang me asking if I owned the house, then immediately started talking about winning big cash and vouchers - but only if I sent them some money first. It’s clearly a scam, they deserve to be locked up. The guy was talking so fast I could barely catch what he was saying. When I told him I’d report him to Watchdog, he hung up right away. These nuisance calls need to stop, we’re swamped with these con artists everyday. They’re ripping off innocent folks and really ought to face serious fines and jail time.

I got a call where the person just said "hi," so I told them they probably dialled the wrong number. Then they asked if I was the homeowner and wanted my name to know who they were speaking to. I just apologised and ended the call.
