What a strange character! This number kept calling us on our mobile during the wee hours, but we were oblivious to the ringing. They tried again the following afternoon. The moment we answered, the voice-definitely male-came through, but all he said was “Who is this?” in an unsettling, hushed tone. We asked for his identity, but he just kept prying into who we were without a hint of acknowledgment. To top it off, we received a text from him asking the same question: “Who is this?” He kept ringing a few more times, but we chose not to respond. We eventually blocked the number, yet he still persisted with a few more calls throughout the day. A thoroughly persistent nuisance, but thankfully, it seems he’s finally faded away.
