So I got a call from someone called Stevie claiming to be from some accident management company. The minute I told them I was gonna check them out online to see if this was some sort of scam, they just cut me off. Honestly, just ignore these calls, not worth the hassle.

After my accident, I got a call from someone who made it seem like they were with the company I was already talking to. Turns out, it was some random trying to trick me into giving details for a personal injury claim. Once I caught on and told him that wasn’t what I agreed to, he started getting really aggressive. He even threatened to open a bank account in my name and take out a £10,000 loan just to get me blacklisted for life! Proper nutcase!

Earlier today, my phone rang with an incoming call from this particular number. On the other end was a rather articulate lady, asserting that I had been involved in a car accident. She introduced herself as a representative from what she referred to as the Accident Road Helpline, or something along those lines. The truth is, I've never had a car crash, and it’s clear to me now that this so-called 'helpline' is nothing more than a scam.

Hi there! I got a call from this number saying I’d been in an accident and that it was some kind of official call I had to answer. They said they were from a government department and mentioned I’d already been sent a letter. Sounds like a scam to me. I’ve had a couple of calls like this from different numbers, probably cos I put my contact details on some job sites. Finding a job during this Covid-19 mess is really tough, so it’s way too easy to fall for these dodgy calls. Plus, if you're feeling isolated, scammers might try to take advantage of you even more.
