Got a call on my phone at 10.48 this morning, 10th July 2025. It rang a few times - three, I think - then it just cut off. My phone threw up a warning saying it might be spam.

Got a call from a recorded voice claiming to be from Indeed, telling me to join some WhatsApp group by adding their number. Then they just cut the call right away. None of the Indeed jobs I applied for mentioned anything like this, so I really doubt it's for real.

I picked up the call and an automated voice said it was from Indeed about a job offer, telling me to save their number on WhatsApp. I've never used Indeed, so it’s most likely a scam, unless someone mistakenly registered my number on their profile.
