Got a message sayin my Apple Pay got blocked 'cause of some network update. Then it told me to keep using contactless payments by clicking a link: https://apple-wallet-id52.com. Seriously, total SCAM alert! Don’t fall for it, it’s pure rubbish. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Just received a message today and wanted to share it here as a warning - whatever you do, don’t tap on the link!!!

Not long ago, I got scammed and ended up losing £1,439.00 from my bank tied to Apple Pay. Can't help but think this might be connected to that.

HERE’S THE MESSAGE I GOT.

Your device’s Apple Pay has been disabled because of a network update. To keep using contactless payments, visit: https://apple-wallet-id52.com

Got a message from this number pretending to be Apple, saying my Apple Pay wasn’t working. Problem is, I don’t even use Apple Pay or own any Apple gadgets. There was a dodgy link at the bottom telling me to follow it to fix Apple Pay. Out of curiosity, I clicked it - my computer’s got loads of security, so I wasn’t too worried. It opened what looked like an Apple site, but it was just a blank page with the Apple logo and some boxes to fill in. They wanted me to enter personal info like my full name, date of birth, address, and bank details to "reactivate" Apple Pay. Totally a scam. I blocked the number straight away.
